How to Focus and Maximize Your Productivity

What you eat and drink can also have a significant impact on your ability to relax into your task. To begin, make sure you’re sufficiently hydrated. Water makes up around 60% of your body, so if you’re dehydrated, you’ll feel sluggish and your brain won’t function as effectively.

No matter what you’re doing, digestive disturbances and gut flora imbalances are inconvenient. An upset stomach is unpleasant, but it also inhibits you from absorbing all of the nutrients in your meal. This implies that even if you eat healthy, you might not be getting the nourishment you need to concentrate.

Limiting oneself can also mean stopping after five minutes of surfing social media or reading news articles online because these activities take up way too much mental energy without any real payoff compared with say research papers requiring deep thinking . 

So, forget multitasking. Real productivity comes from monotasking.

10. Have Enough Water Nearby

Drinking water is a great way to stay focused because it keeps us hydrated and also helps limit the intake of sugary, caffeinated drinks.

Besides, stomach rumblings aren’t always signals of hunger, and a glass of water generally solves the problem.

Simply ensure that you have access to water. That way, instead of walking to the water station and being distracted, you can stay focused at work!

11. Bring in The Healthy Snacks

Nuts and dried fruit are examples of snacks that contain healthy fats, protein, and fiber.

These will keep you full with a sustained energy level without any crash from carbohydrates or sugars in typical snack foods like chocolate bars which only offer an initial burst.

That way you won’t need to take any breaks for junk food!

Working out has been found to help us enhance our attention, learning capability, and memory. Exercise elevates our mood and alleviates tension and anxiety. People who exercise, however, have more volume in the areas of the brain that affect memory and reasoning, according to research.
